The service

Familiaritree provides tools for recording and exploring family trees. Features may change over time, including during beta periods. Access may require registration and approval.

Your account and content

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.
• You confirm that you have the right to enter the family information you store.
• You must not use the service to harass others, break the law, or attempt unauthorised access.
• You remain responsible for the accuracy of the history you record.

Acceptable use

Use Familiaritree only for genuine family history work. Do not upload malware, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, or try to access trees or accounts you are not invited to.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of Familiaritree make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, or that every genealogical detail will be complete or correct.

Limitation of liability

You use Familiaritree at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site providers, operators, and contributors are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, inability to use the site, reliance on family history recorded here, loss of data, or unauthorised access beyond reasonable security measures.

This includes indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, even if advised that such loss was possible. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Availability and changes

We may suspend, limit, or end access when needed for maintenance, security, or abuse prevention. We may update these terms; continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
